Queer

A word that originally meant ‘strange’ or ‘peculiar’ and became an insult against the LGBTQIA+ community. More recently, the word has been reclaimed by some people in the LGBTIQA+ community and is used as an umbrella term for people who identify as sexually or gender diverse.
